2019 | Porto
Located in Travessa do Ferraz, there was a building completely demolished on the inside, with only the walls left being the facades facing Travessa do Ferraz and Rua da Vitória and the walls adjacent to the neighbouring buildings to the Northeast and Northwest. The proposal intended that the rehabilitation was in line with the surroundings and with the intended use in relation to housing, maintaining the old direct accesses by public road.
Pedestrian access to the interior of the dwelling is done directly from the two streets. From Rua da Vitória, it is possible to access the semi-basement floor, where there is a tidy, technical area and a bathroom. The semi-basement communicates directly with the remaining floors through a staircase. The other pedestrian access (main) is made from Travessa do Ferraz and gives access to the ground floor of the house. On this floor is located the entrance hall, the living room and a bathroom. On the upper floor are the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. On the top floor there is a kitchen with a dining area and a service bathroom. This floor has access to a private balcony with a privileged view over the historic centre of Porto.
